Semji vs Meteoria
Meteoria is a broad AI-visibility platform, and it writes: pick a tracked query and it will propose an outline and generate a draft. What it has not built is anywhere for that draft to go — no score, no review, no CMS. Semji measures the same ground, and carries the finding through a scored editor, an approval workflow and a publish.

The short answer
Both products find the gap and both will draft something about it. They part company at the draft: one hands it to you, the other takes it to a published page. And on several measurement questions, Meteoria is simply the better tool.
- You want AI-visibility monitoring on a card this week: published prices from 75€ a month, a 7-day trial with no credit card, unlimited seats, projects and brands on every tier.
- Your question is how the models talk about you, not whether they mention you — sentiment scoring and share of voice are theirs, and Semji has neither.
- You are a local, multi-site or e-commerce brand: ChatGPT map listings and product-carousel visibility are shipped modules with no Semji equivalent.
- You need to know which AI crawlers hit your site, or you report to clients in Looker Studio.
- A draft is the start of the job, not the end of it — it still has to be scored, reviewed, approved and published.
- You are measured on visibility that improves, not visibility that is reported.
- SEO still drives most of your traffic and you refuse to run a GEO tool beside a search tool.
- Your team publishes at volume and needs a calendar, statuses, assignment, comments and version history.
- You want AI agents that draft in your brand voice and publish into WordPress, Drupal, Contentful or Strapi.
- Procurement will ask for SOC 2 Type II, SAML SSO and an audited API.
Feature by feature
Every Meteoria cell links to the page we read it on, with the date. Six rows go to Meteoria outright; those are marked as plainly as the rest.
From draft to published page
The decisive section, and not the one you would expect. Both products generate a draft. Only one of them has built anywhere to put it.
| Capability | Semji | Meteoria |
|---|---|---|
| AI drafting from a query you already track | SemjiYes. Agents draft from a brief or from the existing page, inside the editor | MeteoriaYes. Content Generation — pick a tracked keyword, get an outline and a draft built from the sources models cite for that topicSource for AI drafting from a query you already track, checked 1 August 2026 |
| Generation grounded in your brand | SemjiYes. Knowledge Base and Brand Voice applied at generation, not edited in afterwards | MeteoriaPartial. Grounded in what the models cite for the topic; no brand-voice or knowledge input is publishedSource for Generation grounded in your brand, checked 1 August 2026 |
| Page-level optimisation score | SemjiYes. Content Score across seven optimisation families, live as you write | MeteoriaPartial. An Optimize card marked Beta sits beside generation; no score, scale or criteria publishedSource for Page-level optimisation score, checked 1 August 2026 |

| Comments, review and version history | SemjiYes. Threaded comments with assignment and resolve, plus full version history | MeteoriaNo. None of the twenty-three documented features is a comment thread, a reviewer role or a revisionSource for Comments, review and version history, checked 1 August 2026 |
| One-click publishing to your CMS | SemjiYes. WordPress (incl. Yoast), Drupal, Contentful, Strapi, custom MCP and a send-to-CMS webhook | MeteoriaNo. Their Integrations category is three entries — exports, Google Analytics, Data Studio. AI visibility measurement
Their home ground, and they are strong on it. Two rows go to Semji, two go to Meteoria outright, and one is honest parity.
| Capability | Semji | Meteoria |
|---|---|---|
| Prompt tracking, mention and citation rates | SemjiYes. AI Visibility Score, mention rate, citation rate, average mention position | MeteoriaYes. Visibility rate, average position within the answer, source-mention rate and owned-source rateSource for Prompt tracking, mention and citation rates, checked 1 August 2026 |
| Prompt prioritisation by real search demand | SemjiYes. Real monthly search volume on the prompt itself, with topic, persona and funnel stage | MeteoriaPartial. Prompts carry tags, and search volume is an optional field you pass in through their API — not a keyword database of their ownSource for Prompt prioritisation by real search demand, checked 1 August 2026 |
| Sentiment and brand perception | SemjiNo. Not available | MeteoriaYes. 0–100 sentiment score over time, perception by brand and by tag, AI-summarised strengths and weaknesses, per-prompt ratings out of fiveSource for Sentiment and brand perception, checked 1 August 2026 |

| Engines included in your plan | SemjiChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and DeepSeek — no per-model add-on | MeteoriaThree engines per plan on every tier, chosen from a published list of seven; further engines are chargeableSource for Engines included in your plan, checked 1 August 2026 |
Modules with no counterpart on the other side
Four whole capabilities that exist on one side and simply do not on the other. Three of the four are Meteoria's.
| Capability | Semji | Meteoria |
|---|---|---|
| Local and map-pack listings in AI answers | SemjiNo. No local module of any kind | MeteoriaYes. ChatGPT Local Listings — average position over time, appearance frequency, ratings, category and contact details. Scoped to ChatGPT, as they say themselvesSource for Local and map-pack listings in AI answers, checked 1 August 2026 |
| Query fan-out and product visibility in AI shopping answers | SemjiNo. Neither exists in Semji | MeteoriaYes. Query Fan-Out surfaces the background searches behind a question; E-commerce Visibility tracks whether your products appear in ChatGPT's product listsSource for Query fan-out and product visibility in AI shopping answers, checked 1 August 2026 |
| AI crawler and bot server-log analytics | SemjiNo. Not available | MeteoriaYes. Documented ingest endpoint, per-project token and fifteen integration paths from CloudFront to Nginx; included from the 420€ tierSource for AI crawler and bot server-log analytics, checked 1 August 2026 |
| Keyword research and daily rank tracking | SemjiYes. Daily positions, keyword difficulty, search intents, cannibalisation detection, branded and non-branded splits | MeteoriaNo. Their own GEO-tool comparison puts Search Console and the SEO suites in a column of their own — tools that complement a GEO platform rather than being replaced by one. No keyword database and no classic rank tracking on either domainSource for Keyword research and daily rank tracking, checked 1 August 2026 |
Agents, automation and where the work happens
Both products tell you what to do next, and Meteoria's version of that is good. Only one of them then does it.
| Capability | Semji | Meteoria |
|---|---|---|
| Prebuilt agents that produce work | SemjiYes. Around two dozen templates — Content Master, GEO Expert, E-E-A-T Auditor, CMS Publisher — in the editor and in bulk across Planning | MeteoriaNo. No agent, assistant or automation library among the twenty-three documented featuresSource for Prebuilt agents that produce work, checked 1 August 2026 |
| A recommendation that becomes planned work | SemjiYes. GEO recommendations go straight to Planning, carrying the prompts each one would move | MeteoriaPartial. Opportunities is a real engine with a published rule — a source qualifies above 30% of answers for a query where you are absent and at least three competitors are named — but the output is a filterable tableSource for A recommendation that becomes planned work, checked 1 August 2026 |
| Public API and MCP server | SemjiYes. Public REST v1 on paid plans, plus an MCP server with OAuth PKCE and audited tool calls | MeteoriaPartial. Seven documented endpoints including three writes, with published rate limits — but in beta and top tier only. MCP is a line on the price list with no documentation behind itSource for Public API and MCP server, checked 1 August 2026 |
| Agents inside Slack and Microsoft Teams | SemjiYes. A Teams bot on AppSource that pushes content opportunities, plus Slack | MeteoriaNo. No Slack or Teams app; Slack appears on the English price list as a support channelSource for Agents inside Slack and Microsoft Teams, checked 1 August 2026 |
Buying, security and reporting
The section procurement reads — and the one where the honest answer is not always ours.
| Capability | Semji | Meteoria |
|---|---|---|
| SOC 2 Type II | SemjiYes. Certified | MeteoriaNo. No attestation published on either domain. Their security statement names encryption, hosting in Europe, per-user access and activity logs, and claims no certificationSource for SOC 2 Type II, checked 1 August 2026 |
| SSO | SemjiYes. SAML SSO with automated certificate rotation | MeteoriaPartial. OIDC through Microsoft Entra ID only, configured per workspace and gated to the top tier — no SAML, no other provider, no SCIM provisioningSource for SSO, checked 1 August 2026 |
| BI connector for client and board reporting | SemjiNo. Analytics platforms connect into Semji, but there is no published BI connector | MeteoriaYes. A documented Looker Studio connector — 13 data types, 132 fields, a ready-made report template — on the same data layer as their API and dashboardsSource for BI connector for client and board reporting, checked 1 August 2026 |
| How you buy | SemjiQuote-based, with scoped onboarding and a dedicated customer success manager | MeteoriaPublished list prices of 75€, 175€ and 420€ a month for 25, 100 and 300 tracked prompts a day, unlimited seats, projects, brands and countries on every tier, two months free on an annual commitment, and a 7-day free trialSource for How you buy, checked 1 August 2026 |

Three things that happen after the draft
Not measurement gaps — Meteoria measures plenty. These are the steps between a generated draft and a page that earns citations.
And then what?
- A tracked prompt shows competitors cited and your brand absent
- Semji opens a brief, or the page that should have answered it, in the editor
- An agent drafts in your brand voice, grounded in your knowledge base, against a live Content Score
- Review, approval, then publication to WordPress, Drupal, Contentful or Strapi
SEO and GEO on one set of pages
- One topic, competitor and page model across search and AI answers
- Daily rankings and AI citations on the same page record
- Traffic and conversions attributed across both, from GA4 and Search Console
Volume your brand and legal teams will sign off
- Brand Voice and Knowledge Base applied at generation
- Custom statuses, threaded comments and version history before anything ships
- AI consumption and time saved reported by workspace, user and feature
- SOC 2 Type II, SAML SSO and audited MCP tool calls
Frequently asked questions
Does Meteoria write content, or only measure it?
It writes. Their Feature Book documents Content Generation — “GEO-optimized briefs & articles” — which takes a keyword you already track, checks which sources the models cite for that topic, proposes an outline and generates a draft. Their marketing site still heads its content section “coming soon”, and that copy is simply out of date; we go with the product documentation. The difference between the two products is everything after the draft: Semji scores it, reviews it and publishes it, and Meteoria has built none of those three.
What does Meteoria do better?
A lot, and it is worth being specific. Sentiment: a 0–100 score over time, favourable perception compared brand by brand and tag by tag, AI-summarised strengths and weaknesses, and per-prompt ratings out of five — Semji does none of that. Share of voice, which Semji does not publish at all. AI crawler and bot log analytics, with fifteen documented integration paths. ChatGPT local listings, product-carousel visibility for e-commerce, and query fan-out — three modules with no Semji equivalent. An Opportunities engine that publishes its own eligibility rule. AI Accuracy data on what the models get wrong about you. A Looker Studio connector on the same data layer as their API. And commercially: a published price list, a real self-serve trial, and unlimited seats, projects and brands on every plan. If measurement and reporting are the deliverable, Meteoria is a serious answer.
Can I run Semji and Meteoria together?
Yes, and for a brand team that wants sentiment or a local module it may be the right shape for a while. The overlap is prompt tracking, citations and competitor analysis, so most teams consolidate once they see the same prompts twice — but the modules Semji does not have are genuinely not there, and nothing about running Semji forces you to give them up on day one.
Which AI engines does each tool cover?
Semji tracks ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and DeepSeek, with no per-model add-on. Meteoria's plans each include three engines chosen from a published list of seven — on every tier, including the top one — and further engines are chargeable. That menu includes Grok, Microsoft Copilot and Google AI Mode, which Semji does not track at all: breadth of menu rather than breadth of included coverage, and worth weighing if one of those three is your priority engine.
How does pricing compare?
Meteoria publishes list prices of 75€, 175€ and 420€ a month for 25, 100 and 300 tracked prompts a day, with unlimited seats, projects, brands and countries on every tier, two months free on an annual commitment, and a 7-day trial that asks for no credit card. Read them as list prices: the pricing FAQ directly below the table still answers “what does Meteoria cost?” with “contact us for a quote”. The top tier is contact-sales, and it is where the API, MCP and SSO appear. Every plan also carries a “credits” allowance the site never defines — worth asking what one buys. Semji is quote-based, because scope varies with workspaces, markets and AI usage, and because the platform covers production and publishing as well as measurement.
