Simplified, secure access with Semji Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication
Are you part of a company for which SSO is a requirement, a must-have when adopting a new application? For the Semji R&D team, whatever your IT department’s requirements when it comes to identity management, confidentiality and security, meeting and exceeding your needs is a top priority!

Single Sign-On (SSO) via SAML is now available on Semji
At Semji, we are constantly looking to improve the user experience, starting from your very first login to the platform. Our goal here is both to make access easier while meeting your company’s IT security requirements. For many of our customers and prospects, security and identity management are a key factor across their companies’ entire IT structure. Many of you asked our R&D teams for it, and SSO (Single Sign-On) via SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) is now available to access the Semji content creation platform.
What is SSO via SAML?
As a reminder, SSO (Single Sign-On) is a technology that lets you access multiple services (websites or applications) with a single authentication system. The example we all know is the ability to log in to a given service with a simple Gmail or Facebook account.
SSO means the end of memorizing dozens of passwords, of the same passwords being reused over and over, of passwords jotted down on a sticky note… By enabling single sign-on, SSO offers a reliable, universal solution to this login problem.
SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) is a standard created to describe and exchange secure information. In this exchange of information via SAML, there are three parties:
- users
- identity providers
- service providers
The identity provider manages the identification of your users within your company or organization. It is the one that decides which information is or isn’t passed on to the service provider.
The service provider is the publisher of the service delivered to the user, such as the application or the website. In your case, that is Semji.

The different ways to connect to Semji
Very concretely, there are now three ways to access the Semji platform and the workspace dedicated to your site:
- Standard authentication: our teams create a workspace with a login (your work email) and a password that you set.
- Mandatory activation of SAML SSO authentication for all users linked to a domain name.
- Optional activation of SAML SSO depending on your company’s policy: users can choose either standard authentication or SSO authentication via SAML.
